If you are wanting to participate at an NCAA Division I or Division II school, you must register with the NCAA Eligibility Center. In Nebraska, the Division I schools are the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Creighton University and the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Division II schools are the University of Nebraska-Kearney, Chadron State College and Wayne State College. If you do not register with the Clearinghouse, you cannot take formal recruiting visits to these schools, nor compete at any level until you register.
Nebraska Wesleyan University is an NCAA Division III college. You do not have to register with the Clearinghouse for any Division III school.
If you wish to participate at an NAIA college, such as Doane, Hastings,
Midland, etc., you now must register with the NAIA Clearinghouse.
